Previously, I wrote several posts about the beauty of mandalas. This year I decided I wanted to keep track of the highs and lows of my energy level each day of each month, on a chart which reflected the entire year. I'm also tracking other things such as general diet and sugar intake, when I exercise, when I'm fighting a cold, etc. I decided to make it a mandala chart, so that it is beautiful as well as functional.
Here's a photo of my chart. I pencilled on the paper, on each side, what all my color and pencil codes mean. I'm tracking at least six different things with this chart. Each month I also pencil in lightly some numbers over individual circles, so I can keep easy track of which circle represents which day of the month--you might notice the "5", "10", "15", "20", "25" and "30" on there.
I have this chart available in PDF format for anyone who wants a copy. It can be used as an observation chart like how I'm using it, or you could use it as a goal chart, to motivate your children. You could use it to mark if your children have finished homeschool each day, or whether they did their daily chores, etc. You could use it to track diet, spending, PMS or illness, exercising, or any goals you set for yourself. Have fun!
