I've found a totally unique and surprisingly fun online multiplayer game. It's called "The Endless Forest" and you are a deer with a human-like face. Because deer can't talk, you can only communicate with other deer using body language (you choose from several options).

The game acts as a screensaver, so at anytime your screen is inactive the forest might pop up, and you'll see yourself sleeping in the forest (when you're logged out), and perhaps another deer or two will trot by, call out and try to wake you to come and frolic.

There are several fun areas in the forest, including some ancient ruins, and several fun spells you can pick up to cast on other deer, changing their skin color, putting a mask on their face, or you can even learn how to turn another deer into a frog or a bird!

There are people from all over the world frolicking around with you. Many of us have devised games we like to play. There's also a button to click on for you to dance with other deer--the more deer that dance at the same time, the louder and more varied the music becomes.

The surprising thing is that I end up feeling like a real deer, in a sense. It's amazing to connect with others without the use of speech, and to find joy in running and leaping freely through a beautiful forest. Also, sometimes the creators will put on an extra festival or show in the forest--that is a lot of fun. Give it a try!
