Here are two more games we like to play when we have a lot of leftovers which we need to eat for supper or lunch:
The Leftovers Lunch Board Game
This is a simple board game made from a file folder which is opened up. I drew a simple path which winds around. Each player picks a small food item to use as their marker--it could be a Cheerio, a nut, a piece of cheese, whatever. Each player can't get a drink until they cross one of the rivers--the first lets them get water, the second lets them get milk. The path leads to several pit stops; at each stop, near by, are placed several bowls of foods in that category. When the player lands there, they choose one of the food items and they eat a portion. The path finishes in the middle of board in the "Desert of Dessert". There is always a small treat for each player waiting there--first come, first choose.

Here are the pit stops: First, each player crosses the Stream of Water and they can fill their glass with water. Second, they come to the Jungle of Veggies. Third, the Mountains of Meat (or any kind of protein). Next they pass the Tributary of Juice, and may pour juice into their glass. After that, they pass the River of Milk and may have some of that. Next is the Plains of Grains (or any starch). The path then loops back around, and ends at the Desert of Dessert. However, in two places, there is a detour spot--if you land there, you go back--one near the beginning, one near the Mountains of Meat. So a player may end up circling around the board several times before they make it to the end.
After everyone finishes the game, we all usually finish up any leftover of the leftovers. :-)
