Here is my off-white linen Saxon underdress, which is great to wear by itself on a hot day. This one has a bit of a low neckline, so I have to either fasten it at the top with a brooch, or wear an undergown with it.

Over the past year I started wearing garb in public, on occasion. I loved it. What surprised me was that I was expecting to receive comments from people, but I received none. People just ignored the fact that I was wearing medieval clothing. Now that I've worn it every day straight for over a month, I have received a few comments, all of them compliments on my beautiful clothing. But generally people don't say anything to me at all about it.
