So we did it! The girls and I got our monofins and I sewed the tails (my 9yo son is still waiting for me to sew his). Now we mermaid regularly at our pool and it is addictive, as well as a great workout! And it's great fun to hear the little ones exclaiming, "Mom, I see a mermaid!"
